As an Experienced Backend Engineer specializing in Java, you'll tackle complex technical challenges—from architecture to code—crafting inventive solutions that drive scalable, production-grade systems, embracing cutting-edge technologies, and shaping our SaaS product from inception to execution. If you thrive on ownership, collaboration, and pushing technical boundaries in a dynamic startup environment, this role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact.
You will be responsible for:
- Tackle hard technical problems—some at the architecture level, some at the code level, some at the product level—and come up with solutions, balancing practicality and innovation, short and long term.
- Develop complex systems and services that run in production at scale
- Explore & learn new fields, APIs and cutting-edge technologies including AI and ML.
- Be the owner of the features you develop, while collaborating with product and UX teams from thinking and wireframes processes to production.
- Be a part of a successful startup technology team that translates our vision into a solid SaaS product that performs, scales, and is easy to use.
You should apply if you are:
- A top talent software engineer with significant hands-on experience in developing web applications, with +5 years of development experience
- Experience with Java - a must
- Experienced with large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communicator and team player, with verbal and written skills in English.
- Someone who enjoys having responsibility and experiencing ownership of the created product
- Most importantly, a person who enjoys working in a team with very strong peers.
