Senior Network Engineer I

The Senior Network Engineer will 
be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions for our clients, strongly emphasizing Layer 2 and Layer 3 services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network technologies and have prior experience in the design and implementation of SDWAN solutions such as Viptela, VeloCloud, and/or other vendor solutions. This role requires a customer-facing professional who can assist in presenting solutions, conducting assessments, determining the best solutions, and delivering our services for our clients.

Technical lead-level soft skills and writing/documentation skills are required.Please note that this is a full-time, direct-hire role.  Due to segments of our customer base, we cannot sponsor employment visas.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deliver Layer 2 and Layer 3 network solutions for service providers.
  • Specialize in network technologies to deliver high-quality network infrastructure services. (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, etc.)
  • Utilize expertiseSDWAN and/or other emerging technologies such as ACI, SDA, etc.
  • Develop and present detailed network assessments, designs, and solution proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored network solutions.
  • Ensure network security, performance, and reliability for clients.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on service provider environments.
  • Professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent are highly desired. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) ore equivalent is required.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco network technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols and services.
  • Experience with SDWAN solutions such as Viptela, VeloCloud, and/or other similar vendor solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
  • Proven ability to assist in pre-sales activities and develop strong client relationships.
  • Exceptional presentation and documentation skills.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages for network management.
  • Familiarity with other network technologies and vendors (e.g., Meraki, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Understanding of cloud networking and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Experience with security-related technologies and solutions such as Palo Alto, Zscaler, etc. 160000.00 To 175000.00 (USD) Annually
