Full-timeDescriptionOpenLoop is looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team remotely or at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will drive technical talent acquisition efforts with heavy focus on recruitment in Peru. This role will be essential in assisting with building high-performing teams by identifying and recruiting top technical talent in the region as we continue to scale. 

About the Role


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across with a primary focus on Peru.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a high-quality pipeline for tech roles (software engineers, developers, product managers, etc.).
  • Develop smooth processes that reduce time to hire and improve quality of hires.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, create compelling job descriptions, and design an effective hiring process.
  • Execute recruitment strategies that attract top talent and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Build a strong network of candidates and maintain relationships to engage passive talent.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in the hiring process and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and industry best practices for tech recruitment, especially within startups.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • 3+ years of tech recruiting experience, preferably in a startup environment recruiting high level engineers and similar roles.
  • Proven success with full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer acceptance, especially in technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the Latin American tech talent landscape.
  • Experience with a variety of sourcing techniques and tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, and specialized job boards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
