Job Title: Instructional Designer Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs-Hybrid) FLSA: Exempt Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Instructional Designer who specializes in creating engaging and effective training materials. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative and learner-centered content that promotes knowledge retention and supports the organization's training objectives. - Develop Learning Objectives: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to define clear and measurable learning objectives for each training initiative.
- Design Instructional Materials: Use instructional design principles and adult learning theories to design and develop a variety of training materials including e-learning modules, instructor-led presentations, job aids, and interactive multimedia resources.
- Content Development: Conduct thorough research and gather information from SMEs to develop accurate and comprehensive training content. Write and edit materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to instructional design standards.
- Multimedia Integration: Utilize multimedia tools and technologies to enhance the training materials, such as incorporating visuals, interactive elements, and simulations to create an engaging and immersive learning experience.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Design and develop assessments, quizzes, and performance-based activities to assess learner understanding and evaluate training effectiveness. Analyze feedback and make necessary revisions to improve training materials and program outcomes.
- Instructional Design Strategies: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning theories. Utilize this knowledge to select appropriate strategies and methodologies for different training initiatives.
- Project Management: Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of training material development projects. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget.

- Bachelor's degree or above in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Instructional Designer
- Proven experience as an instructional designer, preferably with a focus on training material creation
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and e-learning principles
- Proficient in using instructional design software and multimedia development tools; Rise, Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, and Power Point.
- Previous experience implementing Gamification into Instructional Design.
- Knowledge or interest in emerging AI Technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality training materials
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
