Rhino has already saved billions of dollars for renters and is trusted in over 3 million homes nationwide.The Senior Manager, Finance will be a key member of Rhino’s Finance & Accounting team and will report directly to Rhino’s Controller.In this role, you will:

  • Partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to create financial visibility and apply sound financial theory to assist in setting business priorities
  • Work closely with the Leadership team to formulate short and long-term financial and strategic plans
  • Support a variety of investor, investment and Board deliverables
  • Assist in the annual planning, budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating closely with business leaders
  • Develop, maintain and calibrate financial models to support effective planning, analysis and decision making
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operational results and summarize variations from plan, assess performance and make actionable recommendations based on business insights
  • Prepare and present presentations to summarize results of financial analysis and model outputs suitable for multiple stakeholders including our internal team, leadership, the Board of Directors and investors
  • Build out Rhino’s financial planning function to support growth

We’re ideally seeking:

  • 5 - 7 years combined experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking or management consulting
  • Two years startup experience preferred
  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling, analysis and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience creating and maintaining financial models utilizing Google Sheets and Cube
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively explain complex information and tailor presentations to specific audiences
  • Experience of presenting at Board meetings and speaking to current and potential investors preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization
  • Organized and able to efficiently prioritize, multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced, often changing environment
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver accurate work products that meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, but capable of seeing the big picture
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus

Benefits:Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000Rhino has partnered with a number of compensation benchmarking tools to determine competitive and fair market pay bands for our size and stage. Our goal is to ensure each employee is paid equitably and competitively while also maintaining a consistent and standardized methodology.Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level and balancing internal equity relative to other Rhinos.Base salary is just one part of our Total Rewards Package here at Rhino.
