Job Overview:
Maintains and improves Pii equipment and support systems, with the primary focus being on safety and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively maintains all Pii equipment and support systems based on a thorough understanding of the manuals, drawings, and operating procedures; collaborates and considers input from other associates as needed.
- Schedules, plans, and performs preventative maintenance duties.
- Trouble shoots equipment problems as tl1ey arise; schedules, plans, and performs corrective maintenance duties; responds to immediate needs as required maintaining safety, quality, and throughput of equipment.
- Performs equipment installations, modifications, and repairs under the direction of engineering.
- Coordinates work with outside service providers.
- Adheres to Pii policies and procedures in carrying out maintenance assignments achieving excellence in timeliness, quality of work, documentation, inspection and communicating skills.
- Responsible for following all relevant regulations (e.g., FDA, OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Knowledge and experience in trouble shooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Can accommodate non -routine work schedules, and be able to respond to call-ins.
- Mechanical aptitude, math, and computer skills
- Demonstrate the ability to establish good working relationships with other departments, including vendors, colleagues, and subordinates.
- Demonstrates the appropriate technical knowledge necessary to make sound decisions on development issues with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze data and information and assess and resolve complex problems/issues as required.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow all applicable SOPs.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
