We are pleased to announce the opening for a Missile Defense Engineer Working Group Facilitator, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team that supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director of Engineering Baseline & Integration (CEF) within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineers Office and be responsible for maintaining the technical accuracy of and for coordinating changes to the Operational Capability List (OCL).
This position also provides direct support to the chair of the OCL Working Group (OWG).
Responsibilities:
You’ll be:
- Ensuring the OCL remains technically accurate. This is achieved via analysis and coordination of technical information with Missile Defense stakeholders, Program Offices, and Elements to ensure that the Warfighter and OCL community remains informed of technical issues related to the OCL.
- Ensuring the technical content and format of OCL briefing packages is accurate and ready for presentation to government leadership.
- Managing the OWG forecast, drives forecast updates to MDA Project Server and Qlik Sense, provides administrative support to OWG meetings, coordinates technical responses to OWG action items, and ensures the OWG classified and unclassified portals are accurate.
- Generating technical responses to assigned MDA Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2) actions, authoring OCL decision memorandum, and developing ETMS2 staffing packages for OCL Decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience in in general systems engineering, analysis of the complex interactions of multiple systems, system design, and/or delivery of capability.
- You must possess or can obtain an Active SECRET clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Close attention to technical detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable interacting with and briefing senior MDA leaders.
- Experience in systems, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science.
- Experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the Missile Defense System is highly desired.
- Experience with digital data analytic tools such as Qlik Sense, Vizlab, Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
