The Role
We are currently looking to contract with 1099 contractors
licensed in the state of Indiana
to add to our Mental Health coverage network - providing therapy, counseling, and support to patients (students) who use the TimelyCare platform. Mental Health Counseling is part of a broad range of digital health services provided as part of a digital telehealth therapy service for members of higher education, primarily college students. As a clinical independent mental health counselor with TimelyCare you will offer therapy and support for the members/students we serve, partnering with them to identify their needs, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with them to actively participate in their care progression, and guide them when necessary to the appropriate service (counseling, psychiatry, etc.). We are specifically looking to add
clinical social workers (LI/CSW), professional counselors (LPC), mental health counselors (LMHC), marriage and family therapists (LMFT), and Doctorates of Clinical Psychology (Ph.D/Psy.D)
providers to our platform.
Requirements for Contracted Services
- Required: Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
- Preferred: Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology)
- Active State License(s) in Indiana, specifically
- Strong communication and diagnostic skills
- Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
- Clear and thorough clinical writing
- Skilled in clinical writing, crisis intervention, and safety/treatment planning
- Experienced providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or a college counseling environment
What You Will Do
- Provide therapeutic counseling services, including assessment, with primarily young adults (college students, members of a higher education institution, and their dependents)
- Develop individualized tailored care plans following each student encounter
- Engage the patient in the care plan and work with cross functional teams / departments to support students needs and care continuation
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Able to document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant progress notes in a timely manner using our platforms electronic health record (EHR)

- Minimum expected time to be spend with a patient during a counseling sessions: 45 minutes + charting

- Motivated clients: The population TimelyCare serves is made up of highly motivated, high functioning students in higher education institutions who are ready to grow and engage with behavioral health services and treatment.
- Professional boundaries: Students and clients will not have access to your phone number or email
Expectations
- Work with the student to develop concrete care plans and treatment goals and document accordingly
- Use active listening skills and evidence based modalities in order to build rapport, collaborate, support, and progress student and client care
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Provide high-quality bedside (webside) manner
- Professional conduct with all students, members peers, and support staff
- Leave appropriate documentation of encounter in the EHR (platform)
- Ability to respond with a high level of empathy, and support clients
- Ability to work as a team member, providing support, mentorship, and constructive feedback in interpersonal interactions
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of students we serve
- Ability to establish rapport, trust, and boundaries with students
- Ability to remain calm in high stress situations
Compensation
- Rate per encounter discussed upon interview, dependent on the level of education, licensure breadth, and experience
- Malpractice insurance is provided
