Purpose
:
The Senior Data Warehouse Developer will lead the delivery of BI/DW initiatives and advocate for the use of best practices in all development and data migration solutions. Specific Responsibilities
:
Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring for team members.
Analyze project requirements, establishes project milestones, and leads peers towards completion of milestones.
Design and develop Business Objects Universes and Business Objects WEBI reports.
Design and develop ETL jobs, including writing scripts and complex SQL statements.
Create and execute ETL job schedules.
Optimize ETL jobs.
Create and maintain technical design documentation.
Assist in data modeling and design for data marts and data warehouses.
Identify data quality issues. Be responsible for understanding source system database structures and underlying data by performing source system data profiling, including structure, data, and relationship discovery.
Collaborate with team members throughout the SDLC to perform model reviews, data reviews, issues resolution, and assure the successful delivery of applications.
Consolidate, integrate, and deliver data for warehouse solutions.

Position Requirements
:
BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing BI solutions with Business Objects suite.
Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing ETL processes in Business Objects Data integrator/Data Services.
Minimum 7 years’ experience with data migration/integration projects and/or data warehouse projects.
Proven experience on ETL design & architecture.
Strong SQL or T-SQL background.
Experience with SQL Server (experience with Oracle 11G a plus).
Experience in performance tuning of ETL jobs and data models.
Experience migrating ETL code from development to production environments.
Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills.
Exceptional data analysis skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Must not have been convicted on any civil or criminal charge that would suggest a risk to Bank security.
Ability to work full time.
Ability to uphold and model the Bank’s Guiding Principles.
