Generation Tux is currently looking for a motivated self-starter to assist a production team at the Louisville Distribution Center (DC). The primary objective of this position is to monitor, repair and continuously improve the operational efficiency of the equipment and the facility.Generation Tux is an online tuxedo and suit rental platform founded by menswear legend, George Zimmer. Geroge created the company in 2014 to provide high-quality tuxedo and suit rentals, competitively priced, and in the most convenient way possible -- shipped directly to your door.
EXPECTATIONS
- Maintain and repair all equipment by adhering to a Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule.
- Ensure the facility is in a safe and operable condition at all times.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Manager(s) to ensure proper scheduling for repairs and maintenance to be the least disruptive to production needs.
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to new standards and best practices for keeping existing and new equipment operable.
Requirements
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to read a tape measure, power tools, and hand tools.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds.
