Job Location: Phoenix, AZ or Winston-Salem, NC - Hybrid
Job Summary:
As a Digital Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through the sale of our digital marketing services. This role demands not only a deep understanding of digital marketing solutions but also the ability to articulate the value and ROI of these services to prospective clients in an easy-to-understand manner. We are looking for individuals who are excellent communicators, organized, passionate about helping independent businesses succeed online, driven to succeed and have a proven track record in sales. While travel does not dominate this role, it is required during trade show seasons which take place twice a year.
Additional travel will occur outside of these periods as needed by our partners and Members, as are formal business presentations to teach prospects and partners about our products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients through various channels such as cold-calling, email marketing, networking and collaborating with our internal field sales team.
- Build strong client relationships by providing excellent service, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Develop and execute plans to meet and exceed monthly sales targets; must have a hunger to win.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiations and aftercare.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the agency's service offerings, pricing structures, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct client needs assessments and propose tailored digital marketing solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Articulate the value and ROI of digital marketing strategies to clients through compelling presentations, proposals, communications and sales collateral.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including account managers and marketing specialists, to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful campaign execution.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices to serve as a trusted resource for customers.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience, with minimum of 3 years in digital sales, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record of exceeding aggressive sales targets in a digital marketing environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing services including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, content marketing, and web development.
- Exceptional ability to explain the value and ROI of digital marketing services to prospective clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be highly professional.
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills with proven ability to close.
- Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team with various personalities.
- Candidate will be required to complete and pass a background screening upon offer of employment.

Work Environment:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
