NCQA is hiring a Sales Development Representative to handle lead generation, supporting the sales pipeline by generating leads, nurturing potential customers, and managing smaller deals through closure. This role will focus on prospecting new opportunities, managing inbound inquiries, and collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to convert prospects into customers.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation, Prospecting & Sales Engagement- Develop targeted lists and execute outreach strategies (e.g., email, calls, and social media) to generate leads.
- Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track and qualify leads.
- Provide initial outreach to prospects and qualify opportunities for the sales team.
- Manage smaller sales deals, nurturing prospects through the sales funnel until closure.
- Effectively communicate the value of the company's products and services to potential customers.
- Engage inbound inquiries and follow up on existing leads to close sales.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to execute sales strategies and meet revenue targets.
Reporting & Strategy- Maintain up-to-date records of lead interactions and sales opportunities in Salesforce.
- Assist the Director with pipeline management, including reporting, reconciliation, and forecasting.
- Provide feedback on customer and business trends to the sales, marketing, and product teams.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align lead-generation efforts with broader business goals.
- Participate in regular team meetings, provide insights, and support marketing initiatives.
- Attend industry events, webinars, and meetings to support lead-generation efforts.
Decision-Making Authority:
- Setting priorities for outreach and follow-up activities.
- Determining the strategy for managing smaller deals and assisting in their successful closure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or marketing.
- Experience:
- Minimum: 1 year of experience in sales or lead generation.
- Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in sales, particularly in B2B or healthcare environments.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively use CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work towards exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to conduct compelling sales presentations highlighting key benefits and ROI.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and provide constructive feedback.
Additional Information:
- Experience in healthcare sales is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- For new hires, this position pays in the range of $70K - $80K per year, depending on experience.
