Venue Concierge
Cloth & Flame & Open Venues creates temporary venues and culinary experiences wherever they can be imagined while working to conserve land by paying our partner properties for low-impact use. Connection with a place, with others, and with themselves.What We’re Looking for:The Venue Concierge’s primary role is to act as the representative on-site during events that operate within our spaces to ensure that the venue operations are running smoothly and that our clients have a memorable and exceptional experience with us.
Someone who has event or venue coordination experience, and is passionate and excited about creating cutting-edge events in unexpected places will thrive in this position. Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Serving as the on-site liaison to oversee that events are operating smoothly within our spaces
- Ensure the space is client-ready
- First to arrive, last to leave the property (average of 12 hrs of onsite time per event day)
- Act as the point person on the ground for any questions or needs that arise specific to the venue, delivering amazing customer service at every communication point.
- Check in with the day of contact/client/participating vendors frequently throughout the event. Build a rapport with them, and lend a helping hand when needed.
- Be a friendly face! You are the face of Cloth & Flame and Open Venues!
- Assist with leading site visits for booked clients
- Help lead Open House operations working in tandem with our Venue Sales team
- Ensure that the space is being left properly and that any damage or additional hours of use, etc. are documented and reported back.
- Have a can-do attitude and bring positivity to all interactions with the client and their guests.
- Meet deadlines and use standard processes to consistently perform and streamline team collaboration and communication
- Be able to think on your feet to solve problems that arise and keep calm through stressful situations
- Be a leader in everything you do
Job Requirements:
- The position requires a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, and/or 1 year of venue, or event management experience.
- Ability to balance being in the field at events along with administrative tasks for upcoming events
- Comfortability and familiarity working with Google Suite, and other technology to streamline admin tasks for event preparations
- Keep a calm demeanor and go above and beyond for our clients
- Night and weekend availability a must
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation are a must
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time (12+ hours)
