About the role:
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Cresta, you will play a key role in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions. You’ll be working on projects that leverage the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, with a focus on real-world, scalable applications. Your work will directly impact how AI is applied to solve practical problems, bringing research innovations into production.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of proprietary models, while tackling key challenges such as optimization, performance scaling, and real-time AI integration into customer solutions.This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies and shape the future of AI at Cresta by solving complex, real-world challenges.We are a remote-first environment, offering opportunities to work with a global team across Europe, the US, and Canada.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions and proprietary machine learning models that address real-world challenges.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to integrate AI models into Cresta’s platform.
- Focus on improving key aspects of AI systems such as accuracy, performance, and reliability in production environments.
- Contribute to scaling AI systems and ensuring they meet production standards for security, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Lead efforts to optimize machine learning models and ensure smooth deployment.
- Innovate and research ways to improve AI models and systems to meet evolving customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI and machine learning models, including experience with deploying models in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts and methods, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) and general AI systems.
- Proficiency with modern machine learning frameworks and technologies such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and NumPy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on bringing AI solutions to practical, real-world applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for working on cutting-edge AI challenges.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, as well as applicable local pay requirements.
