What You Will Do


  • Deliver on-site and on-the-job training, coaching, and development to Field Sales Representatives
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify and address specific performance challenges & group knowledge gaps
  • Schedule, coordinate, and deliver training for team members in various office locations
  • Work with the Director of Sales Training to give input on needed courses and help evolve the learning curriculum -- selecting appropriate instructional methods such as 1-on-1 training, demonstrations, role plays or web-based training
  • Review training progress of our newest field sales representatives
  • Coordinate continuing education training across Programs, Tools, Compliance, and Selling Skills
  • Measure effectiveness of training programs, gather and synthesize feedback, report on attendance & certification completion to make improvements as needed

What Experience You Have


  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years' experience in a coaching, training, or field sales role, with 1+ years’ experience in field training of sales people.
  • Knowledge of the home improvement and flooring industry is preferred
  • Experience in delivering training content to a sales organization
  • Continuing education on selling techniques, sales enablement or sales effectiveness is highly preferred
  • Training certification(s) in Leadership, Sales, and/or Training development helpful
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey ideas and create positive relationships with field sales teams

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.Compensation Range$65,000 - $75,000USDExpress Flooring is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
