ZINNIA Software Engineer III work with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfill the needs of ZINNIA internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help ZINNIA and ZINNIA clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers. Software Engineer III interact directly with Technical leaders, business stakeholders, and may periodically interact directly with ZINNIA clientsWHAT YOU’LL DO:• Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for ZINNIA stakeholders.• Contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, testable, efficient code for ZINNIA platforms.• Assist our teams in providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, improvements, or custom enhancements to existing ZINNIA platforms.• Flexibility to support the challenging development and delivery needs of ZINNIA• Collaborate with our global teams, internal stakeholders and customers.• Act as a mentor and technology expert for team members and conduct technical reviews• Design, develop and validate various requirements for the ZINNIA platforms• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, recognize and react to changing business needs and effectively prioritize tasks• Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and business units.
Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projectsWHAT YOU’LL NEED:• Should have 5-8 years IT experience with not less than 3 years of strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies with end to end project life cycle experience using Agile / Kanban methodologies.• Demonstrable experience in .NET/C#, ASP.NET/VB.NET, and Angular• Ability to develop enterprise solutions following software designs• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or SQL Server• Understanding of advanced design patterns, API-first design, and SOLID principles• Experience with AWS or another cloud platform• Experience releasing software through full CI/CD• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences• Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team• Performance tune SQL's, application programs and instances.• Evaluation of new and upcoming technologies.• Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support.• Experience in Data migration at application /DB version level.Qualifications• Should have BTech / BE / MCA / MTech / ME or equivalent qualification from reputed institutesPreferred/Optional Skills:• Good experience in .NET Windows services, Typescript, Classic ASP• Experience working in the insurance industry is advantageous• Knowledge of performance tuning, security, scalabilityWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?At Zinnia, you collaborate with smart, creative professionals who are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technologies, deeper data insights, and enhanced services to transform how insurance is done.
