We’re passionate about creating positive, growth-driven workplace cultures, and we’re looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us reach more companies in need of transformation.Role Overview:As a BDR, you will play a critical role in our sales team by generating and qualifying new business opportunities. Your main focus will be identifying and connecting with potential clients, nurturing relationships, and helping organizations see how our leadership training solutions can improve their workplace culture, productivity, and overall employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead Generation: Identify, research, and target potential clients who could benefit from our leadership training and development solutions.
  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct high-volume prospecting (emails, calls, and social media) to build a pipeline of leads and book initial meetings for the sales team.
  • Qualification: Qualify inbound leads through discovery conversations, assessing their needs and readiness for our solutions, and passing qualified leads to the sales team.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and activities in our CRM system (Hubspot), ensuring timely follow-ups and engagement tracking.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and execute outbound campaigns and optimize messaging.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to better understand customer needs and market positioning.

Contract Details:


  • This is a contract position with the potential for long-term collaboration based on performance. As a contract BDR, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, and your compensation will be based on a combination of hourly pay, commission, and performance-based bonuses.
  • Flexible Hours: While there will be targets and deadlines, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your own time to meet outreach goals.
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: In addition to a competitive hourly rate and commission, you’ll have the opportunity to earn bonuses based on lead generation targets and successful contributions to closed sales.
  • Contract Duration: Initial contract is for one month, with potential for extension based on performance and company needs.
  • Remote Work: This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location with a reliable internet connection and ability to work EST business hours.
  • Tools Provided: ELM/Positive Leader will provide access to a CRM, email tools, and prospecting platforms to support your outreach efforts.
  • No Benefits Package: As a contract role, this position does not include benefits such as health insurance or paid time off. However, we offer a generous bonus structure to reward high performance.

What We’re Looking For:


  • 2+ years of experience in a BDR, sales development, or customer-facing role. Experience in corporate training, leadership development, or HR solutions is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey the value of ELM/Positive Leader’s offerings.
  • Takes initiative, solves problems independently, and anticipates the needs of the team and clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and assertive in identifying and pursuing opportunities, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and prospecting tools.
  • Passion for leadership development, positive psychology, and helping organizations grow.
