We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Talent to lead our talent acquisition efforts and support our ventures in attracting and retaining world-class talent.
Your Mission:
As our Head of Talent, you’ll join Improbable’s People Division reporting to the SVP of People and supporting CEOs, GMs, and other leaders across our network through each stage of the venture lifecycle. You’ll lead a team of experienced talent partners, working to clear goals in an environment where Talent is a key driver of business success. You’ll design and implement a comprehensive, data-driven talent acquisition strategy that supports our network of ventures and work closely with venture leaders to identify talent needs, attract critical talent, and enhance our employer brands.
This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of talent acquisition trends, experience in executive hiring, exceptional data analytics and stakeholder management skills, and a passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Your Opportunity:
Develop and execute a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy that is aligned with Improbable's mission and each venture's unique needs.
Collaborate with Founders and Venture Leaders to define the talent roadmap and priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Own executive hiring; attracting and onboarding world-class senior talent from across the globe, predominantly at Founder, Director, VP and CxO levels.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding, using data, analytics and AI tools to constantly improve its efficiency and efficacy.
Implement strategies to attract and hire diverse talent through innovative sourcing techniques, ensuring representation across all levels of the organisation.
Enhance Improbable's employer brand by promoting our culture, values, and unique opportunities across various channels.
Establish and regularly report key metrics and insights that measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts across our ventures to senior leadership.
Why You’re Made for This:
Proven experience in a talent acquisition leadership role, preferably within the Web3, tech or gaming space or within a venture-building environment.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing data-driven global talent strategies that drive business growth.
Robust believer in data and metrics, ensuring they partly or entirely influence daily decision-making.
Strong understanding of talent market trends, and of best-in-class tech, tools & practices.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Passion for diversity and inclusion, with a track record of implementing successful initiatives.
Experience hiring senior roles, preferably up to C-suite.
Proactive developer and rigorous documenter of processes that increase efficiency gains across everything talent touches.
Innate levels of emotional intelligence, empathy and humility.
This role is available as remote, hybrid or in-office. We have a great office space in Spitalfields in London but are equally happy if you’d prefer to work from home some, or all of the time.
