What are we looking for? 


The Manager, Application Specialist will implement and integrate our extensive manufacturing software suite into our customer’s environment. They will play a key role in implementing solutions using Eyelit Technologies’ suite of product but will also provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of Application Specialists. Key responsibilities include; managing team performance, fostering talent development, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring the team adheres to best practices. Additionally, this role will support pre-sales activities, project management, contribute to project implementations, oversee customer training, and provide detailed reporting. 

What will you be doing? 


  • Lead discovery and requirements sessions, document client needs, compare with existing solutions. 

  • Analyze customer requirements. 

  • Prepare project Statements of Work, engage development and technical teams for estimates. 

  • Translate user requirements into design documents with use cases. 

  • Coordinate with the Development team to meet customer requirements. 

  • Implement Eyelit software and integrate with other systems (e.g., ERP, PLM). 

  • Provide customer training and ensure successful delivery and usage of Eyelit products. 

  • Manage account health through check-ins and reporting. 

  • Travel to customer sites as needed. 

  • Manage and lead the Application Specialists group. 

  • Lead intermediate and senior Application Specialists. 

  • Focus on team development and training. 

  • Standardize implementation processes. 

  • Track team performance KPIs. 

What you bring? 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related discipline (Masters preferred). 

  • 10+ years of experience in technical consulting and implementation. 

  • Experience leading and managing technical teams.  

  • Advanced customer relationship and project management skills. 

  • Expertise in developing and standardizing implementation processes. 

  • Previous software experience installing/configuring enterprise software and server operating environments 

Nice-to-have: 


  • Knowledge of Semiconductor, Medical Device, Battery Manufacturing, and other high value production industries 

  • Previous development experience with HTML 5, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, etc. 

  • Previous Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) application experience (either as an end-user or as a service provider) 

  • Previous experience interfacing with shop-floor control systems 

  • Previous pre-sales and project management experience 

  • Previous development experience using technologies like Java, PL/SQL, .Net, SOAP, and REST 

  • Knowledge of Planning and Scheduling concepts and solutions in manufacturing 

  • Previous project management experience with small- and large-scale project coordination
