Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced seamstress to join our team and contribute to our exciting new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines and perform garment construction, alterations, and repairs with precision.- Work with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality finished products.- Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to meet specific project requirements and deadlines.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.- Assist in the training of new team members when necessary.- Support the administrative team with tasks such as inventory management, order processing, and customer service when not actively sewing.- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance workflow and product quality.-Cleaning and maintaining the sewing machine so it remains in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a seamstress, preferably with a portfolio showcasing your work.- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment.- Strong understanding of different fabrics and sewing techniques.- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Flexibility to assist with administrative tasks and adapt to various roles within the team.- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
