HR Intern - Job Description

This is a PAID internship offering valuable hands-on experience in Employee Relations, Benefits, Onboarding, and much more to set you up for future success. - You’re currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship.

- You’re detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker that brings fresh ideas!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Maintain our personnel files organized and up-to-date, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in exciting projects that streamline HR operations and improve efficiency.
- Assist in audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Learn all about employee relations and how to handle real-world HR challenges as they arise.
- Collaborate with our benefits coordinator, assisting with benefit plan reviews, enrollments, and reconciliations.
- From onboarding to offboarding, you’ll get a chance to learn every stage of an employee’s journey.
- Get involved in planning and participating in fun employee engagement activities, and explore so much more!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Currently in a University Program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related-field
- Experience with an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now
- Experience with Google Suite
- Exposure to benefit plans and programs
- Familiarity with generating reports and project management
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- This internship is semester-based and we’ll work around your school schedule. For the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.
- Training and mentoring will be provided, and you’ll receive feedback on your performance regularly. You’ll also have numerous opportunities to grow your knowledge base continuously.
