CNC Machinist III to join their facility in Everett, WA. This company has been a trusted aerospace supplier for decades.

Primary Function:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating 3 and 4 Axis CNC mills, performing machinist duties, and using various machines such as numerical control (NC) machines, saws, surface grinders, and manual lathes. Responsibilities include studying blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements, as well as deburring and assembling parts with fasteners like Hi-Lok bolts and screws. Additionally, it includes operating drill presses and riveting machines to aid in assembly operations.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Must have good mechanical aptitude, high energy, and solid work ethic with excellent time management.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing and machining principles.
- Proficient in set ups and operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines.
- Knowledge of CNC tooling such as mill fixture, vacuum, vise jaw and jigs etc.
- Must be familiar with G and M codes.
- Ability to read CMM report.
- Troubleshoots jobs, suggests changes to job procedures or tooling as part of solution to problems.
- Familiarity with using power tools.
- Good hand eye coordination, attention to detail.
- Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications.
- Ability to read and understand precautions, safety, blueprints, and other specifications as necessary to perform job function.
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. caliper) to take accurate measurements.
- Ability to multitask or operate multiple machines simultaneously.
- Ability to take directions and communicate effectively.
- Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and maintain/updates Proshop order status.
- Cross train and assists other departments as required.
- Perform light maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Maintain clean and safe work area.
Education and Experience:
(Knowledge, skills, & abilities)
- Two years of troubleshooting in a CNC manufacturing environment
- Five years CNC machining experience and Aerospace Experience.
- The successful candidate will be required to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment background check.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Permanent resident of the United States ( “U.S. person” as defined by ITAR )
Work Environment:
Standard machine shop environment with various types of machinery. Appropriate safety garments (PPE) must be worn. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
