We're looking to expand our team with diverse and collaborative doers who believe in our mission and the transformative power of affordable, high-quality education.GiveCampus is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager that will lead a team of highly motivated BDRs who are passionate about driving growth and contributing to the success of our organization.
You will be responsible for the strategic direction, coaching, and performance management of your team, ensuring they meet and exceed their targets. Your leadership will be pivotal in scaling our sales development efforts and refining our outreach strategy to maximize pipeline generation and conversion.
Responsibilities will include:
- Achieving and exceeding pipeline generation targets for the BDR team.
- Growth in our total pipeline and weighted pipeline.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs, ensuring high engagement and performance.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to optimize lead generation and qualification.
- Collaborate closely with sales leaders and account executives, teaming closely to plan and execute on outbound prospecting strategies.
- Collaborate closely with marketing on demand gen strategies, campaign participation and follow-up, and operations to ensure seamless hand-off and excellent lead follow-up.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, track performance, and provide regular feedback.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align on lead generation strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve the skills and effectiveness of the BDR team.
- Monitor and manage the BDR team’s pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the BDR function and work to implement solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, pipeline status, and other key metrics to senior leadership.
What We are looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in a BDR or similar role with a proven track record of success in lead generation and management.
- At least 1-2 years of experience managing or mentoring a team, with a focus on coaching and development.
- Experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced, occasionally unstructured environment.
- High energy, empathy, and resilience.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, with the ability to navigate complex selling situations and motivate a team to achieve their targets.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding team goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales enablement tools.
- Passion for education, technology, and philanthropy, with a commitment to contributing to a positive team culture.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in education, fundraising, and/or ed tech.
- Experience working in a startup environment or rapidly growing company.
