Who you are: We’re looking for a technical problem-solver with excellent communication skills who enjoys working closely with customers. This role is ideal for someone with a background in development or consulting.
While you won’t be doing hands-on coding, you should be comfortable reading and interpreting code. Prior MongoDB experience is a plus, but we’ll provide training using MongoDB’s internal resources. What you bring:
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Motivation to manage both technical and customer-facing tasks
Confidence presenting and collaborating with customers
5+ years of experience in software development, consulting, or support across various industries
Familiarity with software architectures, deployment, and operations
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, etc.)
Experience with databases (MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with Linux; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
Fluency in English is a must, and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
What you’ll do:
Solve technical problems and implement MongoDB deployments
Plan and follow through on consulting tasks from start to finish
Work with architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver training
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
Identify opportunities or risks and communicate them to management
Success measures:
Become a field expert in MongoDB
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients
Ensure successful MongoDB implementations for clients
Meet billable utilization targets
Continuously improve yourself, the team, and the product
