This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where you’ll get to planning and overseeing projects within Uphold. You'll coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with desired outcomes aligned to OKRs.What you’ll be doing primarily:

  • Work with the Chief Delivery Officer to evangelize and put into operation delivery and project management processes internally.
  • Work with the Project Managers, Product Managers, Owners and others to help define the roadmap for any given product or initiative.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Identifying areas of the organisation in need of improvement and helping drive that transformation.
  • Championing Uphold vision through leadership, advocacy, and action, as we fight to improve the company in many areas.
  • Moving the organisation to clear ´sunset´ delivery dates so that multiple functions can be properly coordinated to ensure effective product launches.
  • Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver the projects.

Required qualifications:

  • BS/MS in computer science, design, business or equivalent experience.
  • Comfort working in an agile, fast-moving, iterative software development process.
  • Be smart, analytical and creative problem solver.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Ability to be highly effective in a remote-first environment.
  • Significant experience in leading software teams.
  • Excitement to act as a team lead with significant ownership of the group’s efforts.
  • Effective communication skills; a positive, team player.
  • Fluent written and oral English skills.
  • Not be afraid of experimenting with alternative solutions to problems.

Bonus if you have:

  • Fluency in cryptocurrencies or other digital assets as they are core to our business.
  • Community talks, certifications, and/or blog posts on your interests and research.
  • Open source project contributions of any kind, such as tools developed to solve specific problems you’ve had or fixing issues on existing projects.
