About the role:
As part of the Global Marketing Team, you will be a critical player in shaping and executing event strategies in the US. You’re comfortable working in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment, thriving on change and navigating ambiguity to move our team vision and company mission forward. You will have a unique opportunity to build and execute a portfolio of creative and impactful events and experiences to help Momos customers succeed. This role involves close collaboration with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Creative, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure events align with business goals and drive pipeline success.
This role reports to the Head of Product Marketing. The role will require frequent travel, primarily within the US and occasionally internationally, to support event execution. You will lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis for various event formats, ensuring high-quality engagement and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall event marketing strategy for Momos to support business objectives
- Own project management and execution of event programs end-to-end, including the development of strategy briefs, schedules, production, logistics, budget, procurement, and reporting
- Plan, organize, and execute the event strategy that aims to drive Momos leads for our sales team. This includes but is not limited to Large Scale Industry Events (e.g., trade shows, vertical-specific events, conferences) and targeted/curated experiences for our highest value prospects (e.g., CXO roundtables, VIP dinners, flagship roadshows, webinars, workshops)
- Lead internal cross-functional project teams (product marketing, content marketing, creative, sales) and maintain consistency in strategic direction through planning and execution
- Conduct thorough market research to identify key industry events and opportunities for Momos’ participation
- Negotiate contracts and manage 3rd-party vendors, including event agencies, off-site venues, AV suppliers, caterers, and others
- Manage external vendor relationships, including agencies and freelancers, as needed
- Work with content and product marketing to develop event-specific content and presentations and to communicate Momos’ value proposition to attendees effectively attendees
- Find and work with speakers and panelists to be involved in local events
- Assess the effectiveness of your events – reporting on success metrics, insights, acquisition progression, and recommendations
- Maintain accuracy and accountability of event marketing budget, manage final billing and reconciliation, evaluate results against goals, deliver post-mortem reports, and generate learnings for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging event marketing tactics to ensure Momos remains at the forefront
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B, SaaS, or Technology Platforms
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in events, experiential, and field marketing with clear and significant business impact
- Ability to work collaboratively across global teams, functions, and timezones
- Comfortable driving strategy with senior leaders while executing in the trenches with the rest of the team
- Proven track record in planning and executing successful events, from small-scale roundtables to large-scale conferences
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates strong brand instincts, versatility, and point of view
- A passion for IRL experiences and brand-building
- A quick learner, self-motivated, ambitious and detailed-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in an incredibly fast-paced environment
- Proficient in switching between high-level strategic thinking and detail-oriented work
- Flexibility in being able to travel transcontinentally and work across time zones
