This role will support students in a district-wide capacity and will involve two days a week at a high school setting, where the focus will be on developing life and functional skills. Position Details:
- Type: Full-time (now through winter break)
- Location: District-wide, with 2 days/week at a high school
- Focus: Life skills and functional skills
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across the district.
- Conduct district-wide evaluations to assess students’ needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ functional skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students in achieving their goals.
- Support students at the high school level in developing life skills needed for daily living and post-graduation success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
