Job Description
- Work as a key member of the corporate communications team, partnering to develop one cohesive product narrative across the globe.
Sniff out the next big tech trends that could fit our brand and product slate, and craft top notch press releases and pitches that tell a meaningful story in that context.
Develop communications roadmap for product launches and updates, with a strategy that goes beyond our core b2b buying audiences to help build us a brand your mom would recognize and maybe even get excited about.
Partner closely with Product Leadership, Product Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams to develop a targeted strategy for amplifying the innovation and vision of Freshworks products in three huge markets
Build, maintain new relationships with global business, tech and trade media
Media train product executives to serve as global spokespeople for the Product PR programs, including CPO, CCO, CMO, CIO and more.
Manage external US PR agency and budgets, and serve as liaison with peer PR leads in EMEA, India and APAC
Qualifications
- 7-10 years PR/Comms experience, ideally with roles at both agency and in house
- Proven superhero-like ability to near-instantly grok and reformulate the value of enterprise software products in a gripping way for buying audiences and non-technical humans.
- Team player energized by swapping ideas with others and the confidence to pitch it to a chief product or marketing officer .
- Hustle mindset to track down and synthesize technical information and to piece together stellar stories from offhand mentions in conference calls, watercooler talk with execs, and Slack fragments with the extended marketing teams (campaigns, product, customer), sales, customer success, product, HR and, heck, the whole company.
