Territory Sales Representative


Summary


The Territory Sales Representative position at SPINS, supporting our Data Council (IX-ONE) product is responsible for new sales and growing sales volume from assigned accounts through relationship building, and effective consultative selling and presentations. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, outgoing individual to start or grow a career in sales. This individual will have to travel about 10% of the time for trade shows.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


Selling:


  • Make outbound calls and receive incoming calls to achieve call goals
  • Send email communications to advance sales opportunities and achieve email goals
  • Schedule pitch meetings held over the phone or virtually to achieve demo goals
  • Attend industry trade shows to prospect and present in-person
  • Generate new business with prospects and existing accounts

Organizing and Tracking:


  • Manage pipeline activities and opportunity stages in CRM
  • Develop prospect strategy based on needs analysis
  • Provide monthly forecasting and communicate roadblocks
  • Provide product feedback and enhancement requests
  • Complete assigned trainings timely

Requirements:


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing
  • Experience making outbound calls
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Experience with lead generation and B2B sales
  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills; comfortable with video meetings
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and coachable
  • Positive disposition; willingness to collaborate and share knowledge across teams
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers

The following is strongly preferred:


  • Familiar with CPG, Food service industry helpful
