Empowered by technology and inspired by equality, we are here to serve our clients beyond what is expected and help them achieve their future. Choreo operates at an attractive intersection of the wealth and tax management ecosystems and serves over $24B of assets under management or advisement (as of March 30).The Director of FP&A position is a newly established role that will provide the individual with direct exposure to Choreo’s senior management and the Board of Directors, including Parthenon Capital, a leading mid-market private equity firm.

The position will report to Choreo’s Chief Financial Officer. Specific responsibilities will include:

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: monitoring and analyzing trends in KPIs, identifying causes of variances, etc.
  • Financial Analysis: monitoring and analyzing trends in company financials; develop and review financial statements utilizing Business Central / Solver reporting suite
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: lead (and continually improving) budgeting and financial projections
  • Communication & Reporting: responsible for monthly and quarterly financial and operating packages as well as materials for the Board of Directors
  • Integration Support: supporting acquisition integration from a data and KPI perspective including data normalization and ingestion, actual vs. underwritten performance, synergy and earnout tracking, etc.
  • Data Automation: collaborate with Choreo’s IT and data science resources as a business partner to further enhance and automate Choreo’s dashboarding capabilities (e.g., management dashboards, advisor dashboards)
  • Ad-hoc Analysis & Support: supporting the senior management team and department heads with as required data-driven analysis

Basic Qualifications:


  • 10 years of relevant work experience in FP&A or data / analytics related field; financial services sector experience, particularly wealth management, a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or other technical degree; MBA, CFA or professional accounting designation is recommended
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI) and experience with Business Central/Solver ERP a plus
  • Advanced skills in Excel including complex financial modeling, as well as advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Ability to report to the Charlotte, NC office full-time
