For this role, you should be located in Montreal.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Creating and extending functionality of our products by contributing to our microservice-based platform
- Developing clean and highly maintainable codeÂ
- Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and improvement within your team.
- Extending our continuous integration / continuous deployment environment
- Working as part of a team to deliver product features and functionality
- Work with our Product Managers, Designer Managers and Principal developers
- Maintain high standards for code quality, design patterns, and best practices within the team.
What you’ll be bringing to the team
- Strong foundation in computer science principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Golang for backend development.
- Extensive experience in TypeScript and JavaScript, with a focus on the React framework.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving production issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with real-time messaging technologies, including Pub/Sub and Kafka.
- Competent in both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database systems.
- Experienced in Agile methodologies, with a proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative, iterative development environment.
