Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
Grade: K-8thLocation: Harwood Heights, IL 60706Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:25 AM - 3:45 PM Caseload: 45 students (with the support of another part-time SLP)AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive and welcoming school district, providing speech and language services to students in grades K-8. Responsibilities:
-Provide Direct Therapy: Deliver individual and small group speech therapy services to approximately 45 students with mild-to-moderate speech and language disorders.-Collaborate with Other Staff: Work alongside the part-time SLP, part-time speech-language assistant, classroom teachers, and other school staff to coordinate services and ensure students receive comprehensive support.-Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct speech and language assessments, including screenings and evaluations, to determine student needs and develop individualized therapy plans. -IEP Development & Documentation: Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), and maintain accurate, up-to-date records for each student. -Student Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, making data-driven decisions for therapy adjustments and collaborating with families and staff to track improvement.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology- PEL License
