Strongpoint has been recognized among the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies in 2024!The Marketing Director will work alongside the Chief Revenue Officer and Sales Leadership to serve the growth objectives of our business units. This is a growth focused role that will seamlessly shift between ideation, execution, analysis, and strategy definition while supporting sales, customer engagement, customer success and brand development needs. We expect this person to both lead when required and be a doer when execution is the priority. A successful Marketing Director will open new channels, enhance client and partner touchpoints, improve interactions, and ultimately improve value capture through enhanced value communication.
**This is a hybrid opportunity in the Chicago area.**
What you'll do:
1. Strategic Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goal
- Oversee market research to identify market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
- Define and refine brand positioning, voice, and messaging across all channels.
2. Tactical Execution:
- Collaborate with team members and experts to create, refine, and distribute marketing content, including digital, social, print, and video.
- Support Business Units on an as-directed or as-needed basis depending on fit to refine market engagement strategy and execution
- Manage website content updates, ensuring all materials are up-to-date, engaging, and in line with brand guidelines.
- Support Business Development in execution of value communication initiatives
3. Lead Generation & Sales Support:
- Design and implement campaigns aimed at lead generation, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing initiatives support and feed into sales activities, enhancing sales conversion rates.
4. Marketing Channel Development:
- Identify new marketing channels and platforms for potential expansion.
- Optimize existing marketing channels for maximum engagement and ROI, including social media, email, events, and partnerships.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Regularly report on marketing metrics, providing actionable insights to improve strategy.
- Utilize analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product development, customer service, and other departments to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and supportive of overall business objectives.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years in marketing
- Proven track record in B2B Marketing Strategies
- Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing landscapes including SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with marketing tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Creative thinking with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead collaborative efforts
- Adaptable with a forward-thinking mindset.
