- Human Resources
- Recruitment
- Coordinate recruitment schedules and processes
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews
- Draft offer letters for approval by the VP of Finance & Administration
- Onboarding & Departures
- Facilitate new hire onboarding checklist, including asset distribution, introductions, and mandatory training (ADA)
- Serve as a resource for new employees alongside their direct managers
- Perform appropriate departure activities for exiting employees
- Recordkeeping
- Maintain HR and organizational documents (org charts, handbooks, electronic files)
- Performance Management
- Oversee the performance review process, ensuring timely completion and documentation
- Organize employee recognition for milestones and support for employee departures
- Benefits Management
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and cancellations
- Other
- Organize employee recognition for milestones and support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries
- Office Administration
- Manage office and warehouse supply inventory (office, kitchen, restrooms)
- Serve as the main contact for office vendors (maintenance, cleaning, utilities)
- Monitor office security systems for suspicious activity
- Distribute incoming office mail
- Organize employee engagement activities: monthly meetings, holiday party, special events
- Prepare and distribute weekly employee communications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, human resource management or similar field
- 2+ years of human resources generalist experience, including working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, etc.)
- Highly organized with an intense attention to detail
- Tenacious and highly resourceful - no problem is unsolvable
- Takes initiative and is a decision maker
