We are a defense industry small business company specializing in Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) systems, digital interoperability and networking, and program support for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command. Each team member has significant opportunities to solve a variety of complex technical challenges in small teams while working hand in hand with our defense customers.We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to do the following.
Responsibilities:
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Oversee and coach employees
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Minimum Educational Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
- 10 years of experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of warehousing machinery and tooling
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance, for which the United States Government requires United States citizenship
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Experience and advanced understanding of BC ERP system
- Experience with CMPRO configuration management software
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
Other Preferred Skills:
- Experience in warehousing, inventory control, kit assembly
- Knowledge of product and associated materials to support product
- Certification in forklift / Wav picker
