Campaign Directors are the nexus of all communication and activity among external clients, sales and internal groups, publishers and other vendors on high profile pieces of business.
In this position, you will interact with clients at creative and media buying advertising agencies, assisting them in executing online advertising campaigns. You will also be responsible for overseeing and mentoring Campaign Managers with their client work. These clients represent advertisers from all segments of the economy and are among the most visible and famous brands in the world. A great deal of your time will be spent interfacing and project managing campaigns in conjunction with our internal technology team as well as internal sales team.*Must be willing to work within Central Time zone hours - Candidates located near or in Chicago Illinois are encouraged to apply! While the role is remote, the majority of the team is located in Chicago and will meet on occasion.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prioritize daily assignments according to business needs for yourself and your Campaign Managers
- Understand when to leverage internal Flashtalking teams per client/campaign strategy
- Understand client objectives, and suggest framework for campaign setup, suggesting optimal ways to use Flashtalking’s offerings that directly translate into clear reporting and performance outputs
- Work with agencies, publishers and FT Campaign Manager to ensure accurate platform implementation
- Support sales team in all day to day digital activities including but not restricted to, client requests, account management, campaign reporting/analysis
- Proactively escalate issues and communicate potential challenges to the sales team, team lead and management
- Participate in regular knowledge share sessions to learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign management workflow and best practices
- Mentor Campaign Managers in your pod for growth
- Lead, facilitate and organize client kick off calls
- Execute, manage, and closely monitor online media campaigns for agency clients while meeting or surpassing client service expectations
- Demo the Flashtalking platform for clients
- Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns
- Attend client meetings, as needed
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in digital media operations; client-facing/support positions at digital publishers, interactive creative agencies or digital media buying agencies with extensive experience working with rich media vendors (Sizmek, Atlas, DC, Pointroll, Flashtalking)
- A comprehensive understanding of MSOffice (especially Excel) and Internet technologies
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- An analytical mind capable of learning quickly and adaptive to change
- The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Client-facing experience with the ability to identify risks and effectively manage through issues
- Understanding of interactive media
- Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong desire to contribute to a team
- Enthusiastic about technology and startup environment
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash
