Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping around 30 students ages 3-6 years old. In this role, you will have a private office space to provide student services. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, a team of district SLPs, and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:
- Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for students in the school setting.
- Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- IDFPR License in the state of Illinois
- Active Professional Educators License (PEL)
