NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.POSITION DESCRIPTIONPRODUCTION SUPERVISORJob Code:  2011    FLSA Status: ExemptReports to:  Plant Manager, Production Manager, or                     Business Manager    Approved By:  VP of Human ResourcesRevised Date:  November 7, 2013    Approver Signature:SUMMARYResponsible for production operations including laundry, linen inspection, pack production, instruments, sterilization and packaging.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•    Provide direct supervision of all aspects of production in the laundry, pack room, sterilization, and/or quarantine/finished goods area.•    Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures relating to the above area(s) are being followed.•    Monitor and control production supplies and inventory.•    Ensure that safety, quality and employee performance standards are being met.•    Ensure that correct job methods are used.•    Assist in maintaining labor and supply costs within production budget.•    Provide direct supervision of team leaders in the laundry, pack room, sterilization, and/or quarantine/finished goods areas.•    Enforce good housekeeping practices.•    Assist in any area as needed.Synergy Health is a service company which requires that you are always providing some level of service to either an internal or external customer.

Although we can not always choose the specific work assigned to us, we can however determine the attitude, behavior and personality we portray in completing our work.   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct supervision of laundry, production, sterilization, packaging and instrument associates.

Conduct employee performance reviews and recommend wage adjustments. Provide constructive counseling as needed.WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is performed in a fast-paced indoor production area with little exposure to dust and high temperatures; moderate exposure to noise; climate-controlled environment; controlled access. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEXPERIENCE:Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in a production environment. EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or one of the Life Sciences preferred.
