Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance director, end-responsible for all financial matters for Pair Networks. This role encompasses responsibilities across Finance (Reporting and Forecasting/Budgeting, Control, Business Analysis), HR, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Compliance. You will work closely with the CEO to scale and grow Pair Networks domestically, support merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, and ensure financial integrity and business alignment with the Your.Online group. You will manage two direct reports within the finance/HR team (HR to be hired), providing support for approximately 50 employees across the organization, and will be the contact for legal, HR, tax and audit related topics.Together with the CEO and CTO you are part of the Management Team of Pair Networks.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance function, including systems, processes, and team development, while managing one direct report.
- Control and track financial performance against forecasts and key performance metrics.
- Develop, monitor, and execute business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Develop financial business cases for M&A into other related domestic markets.
- Enhance both financial and non-financial reporting frameworks, such as customer, ESG, and technology metrics, in line with global standards.
- Manage tax, legal, and insurance matters, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, driving improvements in the finance function and the broader organization.
- Serve as a liaison between Pair Networks and Your.Online Group Finance and Business Development teams in the Netherlands.
Required Skills & Abilities
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to managing the finance function while supporting the company's international expansion efforts.

- You understand your role has a great deal of responsibility and are committed to doing what’s right for the long-term success of the company, even when no one is watching.
- You are excellent at building relationships across the organization. Translating complex financial concepts into simple terms to ensure teams understand how financial data impacts their role and decisions.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a finance role, at least 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong background in Audit, Corporate Finance or TS, preferably with Big-4 experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (or similar data analysis tools).
- Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
- Experience in the IT/hosting sector or SaaS-based business models is preferred.
- Experience in IFRS, CSRD/ESG and ISO 27001 environments is beneficial as well.
