Pro-Vigil depends on highly reliable global IT infrastructure for its employees to effectively provide mission
critical surveillance services to its customers. We are seeking an experienced Systems Administratormotivated to play a key role in this function and develop their technical, operational, and leadership skills.The person will be responsible for all internal (employee-facing) IT operations of Pro-Vigil’s US officesincluding system administration, IT helpdesk, information security and integrity, network management,and IT, AV and communications equipment management. In addition, as part of a Global IT team, they willbe responsible for deployment and maintenance of tools for critical IT functions such as IAM, NMS,endpoint security, patch management, and employee productivity.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Provide IT support for US employees of Pro-Vigil, at the two San Antonio office locations and foremployees who work remote, meeting SLAs through excellent customer service• Ensure high integrity and availability of office computer, videoconferencing and other electronicsequipment, and network/WiFi infrastructure• Work with the Global IT team in India to establish and maintain data security and integrity measuresincluding security tools and data backup mechanisms• Provision IT equipment and tools for employees• Plan and execute IT onboarding and offboarding for employees• Ability to work independently and multi-task• Flexibility and willingness to accept changing priorities as required• Perform all work related activities in a safe manner consistent with Pro-Vigil’s zero accident policy• Ensure that office IT equipment is kept well organized and clean• Exhibit a high level of initiative and work ethic• Be punctual and responsive to internal and external requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or university) in computer science, engineeringor a comparable technology field preferred. Direct experience may be substituted foreducation.
Experience:
- provisioning/configuring Linux environments, particularly virtual machines suchas VMWare- Linux system administration skills (Ubuntu preferred but not mandatory)- TCP/IP network configuration, security provisioning with firewalls and partitions,network analysis, router configurations- VPN and other internet connectivity provisioning and administration- Shell commands and scripting experience will be highly preferred- Scripting experience with perl or python will be a plus- Experience provisioning network attached storage devices and video cameras aplusComputer Skills: Ability to use productivity software such as spreadsheets, editors and presentation tools requiredKnowledge of Zendesk or other ticketing platforms a plusCertifications: Any certifications related to above experience requirements will be a plusOther Requirements: No travel restrictions.
