About The Position
Intuitive Machines is seeking aSenior RF Communications to join our team. This position will lead be a senior member of the RF communications group with responsibility for the design, specification, procurement, integration and test of space communication systems for flight vehicles, ground stations, RF and communications link and mission analysis. The applicant will be located on-site in Houston, TX. Works closely with other discipline leads in integrated product teams to develop requirements, architecture, designs, and operations procedures for vehicle and ground systems supporting IM’s and IM’s customer missions.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to purchasing, satellite operations, payloads/rideshare projects, construction, ground stations, and other commercial contracts, all in support of the Company’s business operations.
- Assist with development of scalable processes, programs, and tools to support the Legal Department’s effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
- Assist with review of government contracts and provide legal guidance on compliance with federal and state regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate legal risks in contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, to ensure contract adherence.
- Advise on bid protests, contract modifications, and dispute resolution processes.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in government contracting.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Texas or eligibility for admission.
- 4+ years of experience in contract law, with a focus on aerospace and government contracts.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
