About the Role


Crunchtime is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented, Senior Revenue Accountant to help drive the day-to-day accounting operations, perform month-end close processes including monthly account reconciliations, record revenue recognition entries and assist in the preparation of monthly reporting. Responsibilities will include GAAP accounting, accounting systems, financial close, and monthly reporting. You will have experience owning accounting functions and the ability to think critically about processes and outcomes.

A good candidate will demonstrate not only the ability to perform functions and tasks but also understand and communicate the reasons, impacts and ability to identify improvements and efficiencies. 

What you'll do as a Senior Revenue Accountant


  • Perform month-end close processes pertaining to Revenue Recognition across all products including SAAS, Hardware, Warranties and other one-time transactions
  • Maintain and balance General Ledger accounts relating to Deferred Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Warranty and Inventory by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
  • Perform contract reviews as necessary to ensure proper compliance with ASC 606
  • Liaise with Billing team on a regular basis to ensure GL and Billing System alignment
  • Liaise with Tax to ensure proper capturing of Sales tax entries
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process

What we're looking for


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including progressive experience with a multinational technology company, preferably SAAS
  • Netsuite experience is highly desired
  • Maxio experience is highly desired
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Analytical experience using PowerBI

Nice to haves


  • Shows strong leadership skills and manages a growing accounting team
  • Awareness of business trends
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
  • Certified public accountants  preferred
