This opening at BlueAlly is for a mid-level Project Manager
who will work collaboratively with our engineers, regional managers, and operations teams to help deliver IT services and solutions to our commercial and non-DoD Federal clients. This individual will provide overall project management functions to include communicating across all project stakeholders, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects. This position is remote but may require occasional travel/onsite work. Therefore, candidates should reside in MD/VA/DC area.Responsibilities
- Manage IT projects to include developing integrated, dynamic logic-driven MS Project schedules, managing and tracking risks and issues, ensuring quality assurance processes are implemented, and managing other tasks as needed; includes supporting multiple projects and Clients
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and clients through frequent and ad-hoc meetings. Meetings may be held in-person at project sites, or via conference calls/video teleconferences
- Coordinate, facilitate, and provide support to stakeholder meetings, such as logistics, agendas, meeting minutes, action items and risks
- Support quality assurance processes by reviewing team documents and following standard quality processes
- Develop project status reports to communicate project information related to scope, budget, actions, risks, and issues
- Create executive briefings to support kickoff meetings, recurring status meetings, or project closeout
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience to include a minimum of 3 years of strong MS Project experience
- Must be on track or have PMP certification
- Must be proactive, adaptable and have experience collaborating with teams
- Experienced planning and facilitating meetings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload based on the client's needs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
