The Role:


We are seeking a strategic Head of Marketing for Europe to lead and assist our in-country marketing teams to generate and maintain brand traction across the European region. The role has ownership of local/regional awareness-driving activities, culture marketing, social media and community initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling Brand Development  in start-up or scale-up type of organisation with great ROI on invested budget. Experience in making brand-impact in more than one European large market is a must.

The ideal candidate has experience in work in cross-functional and multinational teams. This role will report to the General Manager for Europe and will work very closely with global and in-country marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing and implementing brand strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that promote the company’s brand and message across multiple markets in Europe.
  • Driving consistency across all touchpoints in the marketing funnel with sufficient local market relevance, overseeing marketing campaign development across channels.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive local/regional marketing strategy at the brand, category and product level.
  • Build a bridge between global marketing functions and regional marketing teams for optimised local results while aligning closely to global brand objectives.
  • Develop and track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies, making data-driven decisions to enhance performance.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI.
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Brand Builder across multiple (European) markets in a nonconventional way. 
  • Demonstrable success in scaling businesses and maximising marketing ROI, particularly in the consumer tech industry.
  • Solid understanding of partnerships in a B2B and B2C business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate the company’s vision and goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of forging strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in rapidly evolving environments.
  • Fluent in English, with good understanding of other European languages desirable.
