Position Summary: The Senior Revenue Accountant is responsible for preparing and interpreting information for management decision-making within the Revenue Accounting group. They will play a key role in the processes and tasks related to maintaining and managing the activities of the Revenue Accounting functions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Analyzes business transactions of moderate complexity and determines appropriate accounting treatment through research or collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Calculates and records monthly revenue and expenses as it relates to specific assets.
  • Prepares, maintains, or develops various schedules, reports, and analyses for distribution to internal/external customers. 
  • Reconciles and/or analyzes revenue general ledger accounts and proposes necessary adjusting entries, as required. 
  • Provides information and explanation for audit requests.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:


  • 6+ years of oil and gas experience
  • Accounting Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with various software programs, including (but not limited to): 
  • SAP
  • MS Outlook 
  • MS Word 
  • MS Excel--Advanced skills—Pivot/Power Pivot and Power Query
