About The Role
The CIX Exchange Intern will support the Head of Exchange in ensuring the continuous development and growth of the Trading Platform.
Responsibilities
- Assisting new contract development and go-to-market strategies for new contract launches
- Researching pricing methods for new and existing contracts on the Spot Platform
- Analyzing competition, identifying partnership opportunities, and contributing to the overall strategy
- Utilizing data analysis to inform business decisions
- Conduct desktop research utilising the Apollo platform to gather comprehensive insights on various companies, including but not limited to key stakeholders and industry analysis.
- Collaborating with the Commercial, Operations, Platform and Pricing teams to ensure smooth operation of the platform
- Supporting the development and implementation of new features and functionality on the platform
- Keep up on market trends and regulations related to carbon trading
Requirements
- Independent with good project management skills
- Strong interest and passion in environmental issues and sustainability
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with trading and exchange platforms
- Good understanding of commodities and carbons market is a plus
- Some knowledge of programming languages (Python) and technologies is a plus
- Able to commit a minimum duration of 6-months on a full-time basis
