We are seeking a hands-on Retail Operations Manager to oversee the development and operation of VRAI’s retail showrooms across North America and Europe. This role involves managing every aspect of showroom operations, from the construction of new showrooms, and maintenance of showrooms to daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, supplies, showroom facility maintenance, and compliance with internal controls, ensuring all activities support sales objectives and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage showroom operating budgets, analyzing financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with the VP of Operations, architects, contractors, and vendors as a partner in constructing new showrooms across North America, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
- Mentor and manage showroom teams, guiding operational processes, and ensuring high standards of service and efficiency. Strive to continuously improve processes.
- Oversees organizational standards in the back of the house, exercising creative decision-making to enhance efficiency. Facilitates communication with the team regarding back-of-house organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in retail expansion and operations from a winning DtC brand.
- Proven experience managing retail roll-outs across North America.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple showroom projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
$100,000 - $120,000 a yearActual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise. We will also consider higher-level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly.Apply for this job
