Join our team as a Sales Operations Specialist!
This is a 6 month contract role based in Maple Plain, MN.We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on managing sales operations requests, ensuring data accuracy, aiding in database hygiene, and collaborating with various teams to support sales and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, with the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights and outputs.
What you'll do:
Manage Sales Operations Requests:
- Manage account changes and mergers, including hierarchy modifications and contact moves.
- Support in data loads and maintaining database hygiene, sharing responsibilities with the current operations lead.
Data Auditing and Revenue Analysis:
- Audit Salesforce data with finance to ensure revenue accuracy.
- Align commissionable revenue numbers with Finance's inputs, ensuring all revenue is documented in the system.
- Verify that correct personnel are reflected as paid sales representatives and managers.
- Audit sales targets and achievements, ensuring accurate data linkage and calculation based on the sales commission plan.
Phone System and Documentation:
- Perform daily manual data loads from the phone system into Salesforce.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for all related operations.
Customer Groups Support:
- Provide ongoing support to sales and finance teams, including auditing compensation calculations, revenue roll-up, account planning, and data integrity checks.
- Occasionally assist CRM team with enterprise data, solution architecture, Domo auditing, dashboard validation, and data integration.
Database Management and Reporting:
- Leverage expertise in database management and system architecture to generate and communicate insightful data outputs.
- Regularly provide sales metrics reporting, including sales pipeline and customer/seller behaviors, across global locations.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and metric systems.
What it takes:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient knowledge of industry tools such as Salesforce, Domo (or similar CRM), Excel, and Demand Tools.
- Minimum of three years of related experience.
- Excellent Salesforce administration capabilities.
- Proven experience in supporting a sales organization to increase revenue.
- Strong ability to collaborate and work efficiently within a team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and data accuracy/validation capabilities.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with a strong sense of urgency.
