Cloud Subject Matter Expert to lead our cloud initiatives and drive technological excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Responsible for the design, development, implementation, migration, and utilization of cloud solutions, strategies, processes, and standards. Responsible for configuring cloud infrastructure components like networking and security services as well as monitoring cloud management and data storage services. Plans and conducts complex level technical tasks associated with the implementation and maintenance of systems on customer managed cloud services. Establishes and oversees standards for cloud operations according to client specifications and parameters.

Collaborates with Government personnel, project managers, engineers, security professionals, development teams, and infrastructure services to define, establish, and communicate application and data architecture standards, policies, and directions.

Required Skills / Experience: 


• Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI if required • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud   Computing, or related technical discipline. Education substitution requires 9+ years’ proven   specialized experience managing IT network or system operations, maintenance, and design for   on-premises and/or cloud environments • 5+ years specialized experience managing IT systems with system architecture and engineering   experience for on-premises and/or cloud environments. • 2+ years proven successful cloud experience designing systems, migrating systems to the cloud,   analyzing cloud utilization, and managing cloud costs to stay within budget, requiring   performance, usage, and data storage operations • Prefer at least one of the following certifications: Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge   (CCSK), Amazon Web Service (AWS) Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified:   Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or other certifications exemplifying skill   sets needed to manage IT systems in the cloud
