Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites for Strattmont and our clients
Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project-specific requirements
Ensure websites are responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimized for performance
Collaborate with the design team to transform Figma/Photoshop mockups into functional WordPress websites
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring high performance and security
Implement SEO best practices and manage website content updates
Conduct regular website testing and debugging across multiple browsers and devices
Requirements
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
Expertise in WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders like Elementor or WPBakery
Familiarity with custom post types, advanced custom fields (ACF), and APIs
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques
Experience with WooCommerce (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
Experience in building custom WordPress themes and working with headless WordPress
Knowledge of server management, security, and performance optimization
Experience with eCommerce development and integrations
